Balti Prawn Curry – serves 2


  • 400 gm fresh or frozen (thawed) prawns
  • 3 teaspoons Balti Curry paste
  • 1 head garlic (grated)
  • 1 tin of chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup of chicken stock
  • Dash of cream to serve (optional)
  • fresh coriander


Fry the garlic and Balti curry paste in a dash of olive oil for about 3 minutes. Careful not to burn the paste. Add the tinned tomato and stock and prawns. Cook for about 8 – 10 minutes until prawns are cooked.

Garnish with fresh coriander and stir in a dash of cream (optional). Serve with basmati rice and poppadums.
